With another 4 years to learn, how much progress have fizzes from Sharpham, Yearlstone, Pebblebed, Kenton and Eastcott & others made?

Come along to the first (and hopefully annual) Castlewood Wine Festival to be held at the vineyard nestled beneath the ancient hill fort of Musbury Castle.

Steve Pielesz, chef at the lovely Bridge House Hotel, will be cooking up probably the best fish and chips you have ever tasted. Vineyard open for free tours and tastings
Bothy Vineyard will be celebrating English Wine Week by opening its grounds to the public on Saturday 9 June and Sunday 10 June, from 10am to 4.30 pm.
Free 1 hour tours will be run at 11 am and 3 pm on each of these days – no need to book.
Tutored tastings of our new vintage will be available free of charge all day with cheese and biscuits.
Visitors are also welcome to picnic in the grounds. Children and dogs (both kept under control) are welcome, all at your own risk: vineyards are active farms with all the attendant hazards from farm equipment to rabbit holes.
We are also proud to be sponsoring the Appleton, Eaton and Besselsleigh, as well as the Marcham Jubilee Celebrations. Bothy will also be showing its wines off – free tasting – in Marcham on 3 June at Manor Farm from 12 – 2, as part of the Jubilee Farm Open Day.
