A suitably appropriate event for Jubilee Week!

You'll be greeted with a glass of sparkling English wine and a range of canapés, then we'll go on to taste five more delicious wines, matching each one with a plate or bowl of food to show the quality and versatility of our home-produced wines.

The Carpenters Arms

Tasting of sparkling and still English wines with canapés and supper

Starting at 7:30pm

Celebrate the Jubilee with a tasting of fine English wines, accompanied by canapés and followed by a supper dish and matching wine in the delightful restaurant of the Carpenters Arms.  The wines will be presented by Robert Beardsmore, former General Secretary of the UK Vineyards Association and author of Guilt-Free Drinking.  The talk and tasting will start at 7:30pm.  Price £35.

The Carpenters Arms is situated in the village of Great Wilbraham, located halfway between Cambridge and Newmarket.  This free house has been transformed into a pub restaurant serving pub classics and gastronomic French cuisine by Rick and Heather Hurley following their return from the South of France where they ran an award-winning restaurant.
